In the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, with a rotation angle usually between 0 ° and 90 °. When the butterfly plate rotates to 90 °, the valve is fully open, allowing fluid to pass freely; When the butterfly plate is perpendicular to the direction of fluid flow (i.e. 0 ° position), the valve closes, preventing fluid from passing through.
